Or book a Ryanair flight for a midweek in someplace in EU with a copy of the Lonely Planet explore the area its really good fun and an eyeopener to the rich culture of the continent without travelling to major citys. alone it was ok but time and time again I thought a cultural companion would be great, like to go to Biarritz some time.
